Trainee Payroll Administrator Permanent

Bowen Eldridge are working in partnership with renowned independent Accountancy practice who are offering a Trainee Payroll opportunity. The Payroll Administrator will work alongside an established payroll team where they will be trained and mentored by the Manager.

To be considered for this development role you need to have worked within a professional office environment previously and attained grade C in Mathematics and English GCSE level. You will be liaising with clients daily via email and payroll so effective communication skills are essential. In addition, you will need to be able to plan your day and prioritise your duties and responsibilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • All aspects of administration including starters and leavers
  • The processing and running of the end to end payroll (weekly, monthly and fortnightly), including the collation of timesheets
  • Ensuring all necessary payments are made within the deadlines set.
  • Liaising with HMRC and other relevant third parties
  • Answering queries from clients and other departments within the business regarding a variety of issues.
  • Processing year end payroll procedures
  • Providing a superior customer service always
  • Working with Sage 50 Payroll and other internal databases

Working Hours: Monday-Friday 37.5 hours per week
