Management Accountant
A successful company in Bridgend are growing their finance team and as such are recruiting for a Management Accountant on a permanent basis.
The company have evolved over time and now have a range of services and products for an international customer base. The Management Accountant will work closely with all members of the finance team and will report to the Finance Director.
Management Accountant duties
- Monthly reporting submissions including management accounts and supporting commentary, journal posting and accruals.
- Cashflow forecasting.
- Involved with preparing VAT returns for various entities.
- Involvement with annual budget processes.
- Maintenance of Fixed Assets register.
- Purchase Ledger invoice review and approval.
- Payment runs and direct debit collections.
- Overseeing and review of monthly invoice process.
- Liaising with external Auditors during annual audit.
- Involvement with year-end processes and reporting submissions for audit and tax requirements.
Management Accountant person specification
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role with experience of the required duties
- Evidence of professional development (AAT, ACCA, CIMA)
- In-depth working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, particularly strong Excel ability.
- Able to communicate openly and build relationships with colleagues.
