What we collect
We will collect your personal data to enable the recruitment process. This data will include the information supplied by you on your Curriculum Vitae (CV) which would include, for example, name, address and qualifications. In order for Bowen Eldridge Recruitment Limited to provide a service to you, you consent to using that information (including, without limitation, sensitive personal data) in this way.
Bowen Eldridge Recruitment Limited cannot accept responsibility should their clients misuse or share your personal information.
What we do with the information we gather
We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and for the following reasons:
- To provide a recruitment service to you
- Enable to represent your candidacy to clients and apply for job vacancies.
- Internal record keeping.
- We may periodically send emails about new vacancies which may be of interest to you as a candidate.
We are required by law to hold your personal data and sensitive personal data for as long as is necessary to comply with our statutory obligations. We will always try to make sure that this is maintained and up to date. To help us achieve this, you are under a duty to inform us of all changes to your personal data and sensitive personal data.
If we have no contact with you then following the expiry of a period, we consider appropriate we will archive – and may delete – your file. If you do not indicate that you wish to have your details retained, then we archive your details. By archiving your details, your contact details will be removed but an incomplete profile of you will be retained.
You have the right to ask for the information retained about you at any time. Your identity will need to be provided in person with two forms of identification.
You have the right to ask for your profile to be deleted. Bowen Eldridge Recruitment Limited will treat this request with utmost importance however please note we may not be able to so. Particularly should your profile retain information relating to clients or financial information.
There will be occasions where Bowen Eldridge Recruitment Limited will be unable to reveal the name of their client(s) when handling a job vacancy. By discussing the details of the job vacancy and if you choose to apply, your consent is given for your CV to be submitted.
If you give verbal consent to Bowen Eldridge Recruitment Limited to submit your CV to a job vacancy with their client, your candidacy will be deemed as being held by Bowen Eldridge Recruitment Limited only. If your CV has been submitted via another agency it will be deemed as a secondary application and it is your responsibility to treat this as a breach of your data.
