Accountant Permanent
A large, independent accountancy practice is seeking to appoint an additional qualified Accountant for their accounts team. You will be managing a portfolio of clients, working with a varied client base, predominantly consisting of owner managed businesses / SME clients.

The Accountant will manage a client portfolio, assist with supervising juniors within the team and inputting to workflow panning. You will be delivering revenue and profitability targets and foster long term client relationships.
Our client is seeking an ACCA/ACA experienced individual who has trained and qualified in an accountancy practice.
Accountant duties and responsibilities;
- Manage a client portfolio with higher level of client responsibility.
- General accounting compliance work.
- Preparing financial statements, ensuring they are compliant with relevant accounting standards, whilst on occasion training others.
- You need to be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of automated accountancy packages, including; Sage, Xero and CCH products.
- Use of workflow management across the team for your own portfolio.
- Deal with all elements of client service with support from Director/Partners for technical areas.
- Develop opportunities for the practice and flag to Director/Partner.
- Work both autonomously and as part of a team.
- Take responsibility for delivery of quality advice.
