Accountant Permanent
An established Accountancy Practice are seeking an experienced Accountant to join their friendly Accounts team. This is an autonomous role, where the Accountant would be responsible for a portfolio of clients and provide a superior client service. Candidacy will be considered from ACA/ACCA exam qualified Accountants and Qualified by experience.
It would be advantageous if the Accountant had worked with a variety of cloud-based Accountancy packages, including Xero and QuickBooks.
This role can be considered on a full time or part time basis (minimum three full days per week).
Accountant Duties and Responsibilities;
- Working with accountancy software including Xero and QuickBooks.
- Accounts preparation of limited companies and unincorporated businesses.
- Tax returns for corporate and personal clientele.
- VAT returns.
- Liaising with client’s face to face, via email and telephone and assisting with their accounting queries.
- Liaising with internal colleagues regarding more complex Tax queries.
- Bookkeeping.
- Providing a superior service always.
The Accountant will benefit from a collaborative, family-friendly working environment, within a well-established accountancy practice.
Working Hours: Monday-Friday 37.5 hours per week, part time hours will also be considered (three full days per week).
