Accounts Assistant (Accountancy practice) Full Time

A regional and growing Accountancy practice are recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant. This is a varied role, where you will be working closely with the Accounts production team. You will benefit from a good location and excellent further training and study support options.

To be considered for this opportunity you do need to have worked within an Accountancy practice environment previously. It is advantageous if you are AAT qualified/ Part ACCA/ACA qualified. It is essential you have good communication skills coupled with competent IT skills, including Excel. It would be advantageous if you have worked with Sage and Xero previously.

Accounts Assistant duties and responsibilities:

  • Accounts Preparation
  • Personal and Corporation Tax returns
  • VAT returns
  • Bookkeeping
  • Liaising with clients via email and telephone
  • Updating internal databases and using accounting software

Working hours:   37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday
