Accounts Senior
A tech savvy, modern, Cardiff based Accountancy Practice are seeking an Accounts Senior.
The Accounts Senior will benefit from working within a relaxed and friendly office environment, where work/life balance is imperative. It is essential that you have worked within an Accountancy practice environment previously and can prepare accounts to final sign off.
It would be advantageous if you have working knowledge of Xero, Iris, Quickbooks and/ or Sage. Candidacy will be considered from ACA/ACCA exam qualified/part qualified Accountants and Qualified by experience.
You will be meeting and advising clients so clear and confident communication skills are imperative.
Full and part time hours to be considered, coupled with flexible working.
The office is well appointed with easy transport links from the M4 and a470.
Accounts Senior duties and responsibilities
- Working within the general Accounts department.
- Managing an established portfolio of clients and meeting clients as and when required.
- Preparation of bank analysis and reconciliations.
- Preparation of trial balances and financial statements.
- Fixed asset registers.
- Personal and corporation tax computations.
- Preparation of VAT returns.
- Assisting junior colleagues as and when required.
- Supporting colleagues as and when required.
- Working with cloud based accountancy software and an eagerness to embrace new technology.
Monday- Friday 37.5 hour working week
