Management Accountant NEW
An international business in Swansea are now recruiting for a Management Accountant on a permanent basis. Based in the UK Head Office, the company is part of a global group with operations across Europe. They have an established presence in the area and are now planning on growing.
The Management Accountant will form part of a dedicated team, proving key financial information to senior colleagues that guide business decisions. This is an autonomous role so applicants will be self-motivated and able to work with finance and non-finance colleagues comfortably.
Management Accountant duties
- Preparing monthly management accounts and submitting to Group.
- Assist preparing yearend statutory accounts, group consolidation and resolving audit queries.
- Review team progress towards monthly targets and task completion.
- Monthly reports including stock, debtors reconciliation, creditors reconciliation.
- Preparing financial reports for group companies and involved in meetings with management to review performance.
- Prepare quarterly budgets by branch/company.
- Reconcile intercompany accounts and bank reconciliations.
- Review monthly reconciliations prepared by team members and check financial controls running effectively.
- Participation in preparing transfer pricing documentation.
Management Accountant person specification
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role.
- Strong academic background, ideally being at least a part qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Accountant.
- Excellent ability using Microsoft Excel, comfortable working with high volumes of data.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise effectively.
