Marketing Assistant NEW
A successful manufacturing company in Swansea are recruiting for a Marketing Assistant on a permanent basis. The company have strong local roots and have a range of global customers.
In a wide ranging role, the Marketing Assistant will work closely with the Marketing Lead and will be responsible for assisting with creating marketing campaign content for brochures, website news (blog) posts, social media posts, executing events and researching market trends and compiling reports.
Marketing Assistant duties
- Assist with planning all events – helping to coordinate and implement all phases from pre-planning to follow-up.
- Website, Social Media and E-Campaigns – execute and manage engagement of news posts, web pages and product case studies.
- Translate communications into press releases, write initial draft and share industry news with colleagues.
- Organise and fulfil literature and promotional requests from Sales and Business Development Teams including promotional items, flyers and brochures (managing office and sales stock, production, quotes/billing and translations).
- Become proficient on CRM software HubSpot and SalesForce, updating and maintaining mailing lists and lead generation from Sales, Business Development and Customer Service teams.
- Generate targeted contact lists based on campaign focus using secondary research online and online databases and upload to CRM system.
Marketing Assistant person specification
- Demonstrable experience in a marketing role.
- Comfortable working in technical, product led company.
- Extremely organized with strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects/priorities at the same time.
- Intellectual curiosity, creativity, flexibility, drive and self confidence.
- Able to work effectively independently and as part of a team to ensure goals are met.
- Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent IT skills with good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Power Point.
