A growing Accountancy practice located in Bridgend are seeking a Part Qualified/ Qualified Accountant to join their Accounts team.

To be considered for this opportunity you do need to have gained prior accountancy practice experience, especially accounts preparation, management accounts and tax returns.  It would be advantageous if you have used QuickBooks, Xero other Cloud accounting software.

Candidacy will be considered for ACA/ ACCA qualified individuals or if you are qualified by experience. Study support options are available for part qualified candidates.

Duties and Responsibilities of Part Qualified/ Qualified Accountant

• Managing a dynamic portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial reporting and submissions.
• Preparation and submission of year-end accounts, Corporation Tax Computations, VAT Returns, and Confirmation Statements with precision and efficiency.
• Preparation of management accounts.
• Mentoring and guiding junior team members, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and excellence.
• Preparation of VAT Returns under different VAT schemes.
• Dealing with ad hoc queries raised by clients.
• Experience with Cloud based accountancy software.
• Understanding of Companies Act disclosures for Financial Statements.
• Liaising with clients via telephone and email and offering a superior customer service.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to reach team targets.
• Working to deadlines.
