Working with a talented Marketing team and reporting to Head of Marketing, this role is responsible for the companies entire social media output, from concept to delivery and result analysis thereafter.

Social Media Executive job description

 

 

  • Develop creative and engaging content for all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube), maintaining the company’s tone and style.
  • Build and manage a social media content calendar, working closely with the Graphic Designer and design agency.
  • Work alongside other departments to develop timelines and campaigns based on new partnerships, products, etc.
  • Be the main point of contact for all social media queries and support.
  • Produce monthly reports on social media analytics and competitor activity for the Head of Marketing.
  • Engage with partners, customers, and relevant trends online, including managing prize draws and scheduling paid partner content.
  • Develop regular news content for the website.
  • Work with the Product Manager and partners to create technical / product blogs.
  • Develop long-form print content for industry magazines and publications.
  • Support the Marketing team in maintaining and updating website copy as necessary.
  • Proofread and edit written marketing content.
  • Ongoing analysis of content, socials, and campaigns to identify successes and areas for improvement.

 

Social Media Executive Person Specification

 

  • Excellent knowledge of and enthusiasm for social media platforms.
  • Able to use Marketing systems/tools to track performance.
  • Excellent copy writing ability, able to make technical product updates ‘readable’.
  • Great attention to detail.
